Party for a great cause at Magdalena's Party this saturday!

As some of you may know, last year we lost our home in Barracas where we held classes and after school activities for the kids and their families in the Barracas/Boca/Constitucion areas. Since then, we have been doing smaller events in a conventillo & a nearby park in Barracas, but we are desperate to find a new home so that we can reach more kids and give them all a positive environment to learn and come together as a community.

Magdalena's Party has been so kind as to donate the proceeds from the night's festivities towards helping CUDLP find a new community center! This being said, please come out with a few friends knowing that not only will you have an awesome time at one of the best bars in the city, but you will also be helping us towards our goal of finding a new home this year so we can continue to grow and help even more children and their families!

Volunteer in Buenos Aires in 2012

In 2012, we have decided to meet regularly on Fridays at 17hrs00. The venue may change week to week but the day and the time will remain the same. We are exploring the idea of holding the the club sessions in the conventillos in which the children live.

Our aims are to formally register the club as a charity in Argentina and to raise enough funds to move to a building of our own where we can be open all week and grow to be more of a community centre than just an after school club. It may take some time but your help and support along the way to achieving this goal will be greatly appreciated.

We are currently meeting on Fridays at 17hrs00.
